Yeah.
It sucked...MAJORLY!
The orientation itself wasn't bad (except when I got lost on the tour-_-;) and I got a free t-shirt, that's good. Right? O.o; And a hotdog...and a Cola...
Well, what went wrong with my day? Here's a list:
1: woke up earlier than normal; 8am. Now, I have to wake up at 7.30am for the school year, but this is still summer vacation -I'm not accustomed to that.
2: a girl -no, two girls, actually- that are super annoying tried to be my friends and pretend that nothing happened. Hmm, WRONG! Those were the same two girls that did their best to stick a knife in my back and twist it as slowly as possible last year. It was really stupid because I just sort of ignored them and they were trying to get my attention as much as possible.
3: I got suckered into getting a locker near the people I don't like. Yippee *rollseyes*. A girl that I actually LIKE (that just so HAPPENS to be friends with the two I don't) was getting a locker near them and suckered me into getting a locker near her. Greeaat.
4: instead of going there and feeling better about starting highschool, I now feel WORSE. Hahaha. Irony IS cruel.
So that was my day. Although, the one good thing happened was that I have now renounced (icky) deserts. Gross! Sorry to anyone who actuallys likes sweets...-_-;
I'll just go into high school, make happy acquaintences, focus on my work, have SOME fun, and get the hell out. That's all I really can do right now. I just hope that someday I'll actually be happy -because right now I most certainly am NOT!
Oh, and I got a tester Myspace. I just wanna fiddle around with the pretty layout backgrounds lol^^ I don't really like Myspace actually =D
Yes. It is time to rant.
A couple of days ago I saw Indianna Jones and the Kindom of the Crystal Skull (2008) with Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Cate Blanchett, and other actors I'm too lazy to mention-_-; It was really cool movie, not something I would buy, but it was a pretty good movie. I think it got something like seven out of ten on IMDB.com or something. Not something I'd buy, maybe, but I definately wouldn't knock it either lol^^
I saw it with my mom, my sister, and my sister's friend...which meant sharing the (overpriced) skittles I bought *cries*
And watching the previews, I found another movie that I want to see sometime later in the summer maybe. It's called Eagle Eye (2008) and Shia Labeouf is in it. He's actually a pretty good actor, or at least from what I saw of him in the Indianna Jones movie. I remember seeing him in the Even Stevens show on Disney lol^^
But the movie looks really cool, just my type of movie really - Drama and a Thriller. I'm going to be searching around in theatres for it definately, especially since I've already forgotten when it's supposed to come out-_-; Oh well, it looks pretty cool so I don't mind^^
I also found that High School Musical 3 (2008) is coming out on the 24th of October -four days away from my birthday.
I don't like those movies at all :(
Moving away from my rant about movies, I went shopping the same day I saw the Indianna Jones movie *grins* I went to a small store (do they call them boutiques??) and I got four wristbands for ten dollars :D
They're so cool -even though they're all black. I have nothing against the colour, but having four wristbands that have black in them? Not so diverse-_-;
I have one that has a white star on it and the rest of the wrist band is black. Another is black-and-white striped. Another is black-and-white checkered. And the last is black with a white pirate skull on it :D They came in pairs, so I've got one for each wrist lol^^
That's all I bought though...So...Yeah...
I'm also spending the next two weeks studying for my Bronze Medallion test -there's a written test and then a physical/performance test that I have to do, so...I have to get a lot of studying done *sweatdrop* I also have to spend the next three weeks getting in shape for the physical part of the test. I'm pretty fit, but I'm not quite at the level that I need to be. My strategy is jogging to the library and back, pushups and lifting weights, abdominal crunches, and one or more bike rides during the evening. I hope that helps, because I have to swim 20 lengths or ten laps of the pool in fifteen minutes and then I have to be able to swim six laps by twenty-five meters in a sprint. Sort of tiring. The lessons that I've been taking take five and a half hours.
I don't mind though, it just means I'm one step closer to getting a summer job lifeguarding -which pays above minimum wage. I'm pretty anxious and nervous about it though, but I'll just have to be calm and do my best.
